New part time certificate course, starts in September 2006

 

Part-Time Certificate Course

 

* AIM:

 

To provide an alternative route for students wishing to complete the Constance Spry Certificate in Flower Design

 

* DURATION:

 

Stage 1     36 weeks (3  x  12 weeks)

Stage 2     36 weeks (3  x  12 weeks)

 

* TEACHING METHODS:

 

Teaching by lecture and demonstration and progress is monitored by continual individual assessment

 

* EXAMINATION PROCEDURE:

 

No final examination. Standard is checked by formal assessment of the key design in the practical design range.

Theory subjects are assessed by written test.

 

*PROGRESSION ROUTE:

 

Students successfully completing stages 1 or 2 can progress to Diploma level and the Spry Style Teaching Certificate

 

* START DATE:
